Biography

Ms. Meyers-Lopez’s practice focuses on insurance coverage and business litigation.  In the insurance field, Ms. Meyers-Lopez has analyzed and litigated a wide range of first-party and third-party insurance disputes.  Her insurance practice includes evaluating coverage, providing guidance for investigations, drafting coverage opinions, taking examinations under oath, and litigating coverage and bad faith issues.  Her business litigation practice involves all aspects of litigation in state and federal courts. Ms. Meyers-Lopez recently served as both successful trial counsel and prevailing appellate counsel in the 9th Circuit COVID coverage case entitled Out West Restaurant Group, Inc. v. Affiliated FM Insurance Company (9th Cir., Sept. 2, 2022, No. 21-15585) 2022 WL 4007998.

Prior to joining Jones Turner, Ms. Meyers-Lopez litigated cases in state and federal courts, including courts of appeal; she has also handled matters adjudicated by various administrative agencies.
